Alabama A&M University's (AAMU) annual High School Student Day will be on November 2, 2024. During this event, students will travel to the University via charter bus, tour the campus, and meet with the Admissions Office, where they will have the opportunity to be admitted to the University on the spot.

Students who are musically talented will have the opportunity to audition for a position with the Alabama A&M University "Marching Maroon and White" band.

 

Students who have had some experience in a high school choir or ensemble will have the opportunity to audition for the University Choir.

 

Students who qualify may be awarded an academic, band, or choir scholarship(s) on the spot (students must provide ACT/SAT scores to be considered).

 

For the culminating activity, students will attend a football game against Southern University at the AAMU Louis Crews Stadium. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus snacks) will be provided. The registration fee is $65.00 per person. The deadline to apply is October 31, 2024.

Pickup/Drop Off Information:

Hamilton E. Holmes Marta Station Surface Parking Lot, 70 Hamilton E. Holmes Dr, NW, Atlanta, GA 30311.

• Bus load time 4:30 am; Bus departure time 5:00 am

• Bus return time approximately 10:00 pm.  We will leave the football game early for dinner and return to Atlanta. 

 

Registration will not be counted until payment is made:

• Deadline: Registration/Payments due by 10/31/2024. Late registration will not be accepted.

• Buses will be filled based on time of registration. Groups who would like to sit together are encouraged to register within the same time frame, however desired bus assignments cannot be guaranteed.

• There will be no refunds for this trip.
