Georgia T.A.G Scholarship Criteria
The scholarship is open to high school seniors and current University students who meet the following criteria:

Resident of Georgia
-
Cumulative GPA 2.80 and above (based on a 4.0 scale)

Participation in extra-curricular, community service and/or leadership activities
-
Acceptance letter from the University or proof of enrollment (current students)

Financial Need

Apply using the Georgia T.A.G. Scholarship Application Form
Upload the following documentation in the application

Autobiography
-
Essay
-
Two (2) recommendation (one preferred from an AAMU Alum)
-
Unofficial Current Transcript
-
Admission Letter or Proof of Enrollment

Wallet sized photograph (digital image)
Administration and Management:

Decisions rendered by the Scholarship Committee are final.

Scholarship awards are one-time awards. Students may reapply each year for each scholarship offered, although this does not guarantee automatic approval.

Applicants are encouraged to remove any personally sensitive information from their application package. The MAAC is not responsible for personal data that maybe compromised by use of the internet or otherwise.
Scholarship Awards:

Scholarship funds maybe used for any expenses related to the cost of attending Alabama A&M University. Expenses may include, but are not limited to tuition, books, fees. etc.

All payments will be made payable to Alabama A&M University on behalf of the award recipient.
Important Dates

Scholarship applications are due on April 10, 2024.
